With so many different tire brands currently on the market, it can be difficult for vehicle owners to decide which tire brand to use on their vehicle. Goodyear not only has a long history, but a proven track record. Goodyear tires is also currently running as the number three tire company in the United States.

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company came into existence in 1898 with the help of a man named Frank Seiberling. In the beginning, the company only employed around thirteen workers, solely producing tires for bicycles and carriages. The company has since expanded and not only produces Goodyear car tires and Goodyear truck tires, but also tires for planes and heavy machinery. In 2001, Goodyear created greater precision in it's tires by incorporating injection molding into its tire production line.

Goodyear produces several different lines of tires. One of the most popular series is the Goodyear Eagle tires. These are a series of high performance tires. One of the most recent innovations for Goodyear Eagle tires is Response Edge Technology. This  model of Goodyear tires is designed with Carbon Fiber to create a durable, lightweight tire that enhances driving performance by creating smooth cornering and wet traction.

Goodyear tires series also includes the Goodyear Assurance for cars. The Goodyear Assurance is split into two categories: Triple Tred Technology and ComfoTred Technology. Goodyear car tires with Triple Tred Technology are designed to handle any weather conditions from rain to snow. Goodyear tires with ComforTread Technolgy are specifically designed to provide luxury vehicles with a smooth and comfortable ride.

Goodyear also provides tires for trucks. The most recent innovation for Goodyear truck tires is the Goodyear Wrangler featuring SilentArmor Technology. This series of Goodyear tires are created using a material called KEVLAR®, which is five times stronger than steel. KEVLAR® is also a great material for absorbing noise. As a result, Goodyear tires featuring SilentArmor Technolgy provide a durable and silent ride.

Goodyear tire prices can range anywhere from  $70  to $200 per wheel. Most Goodyear tires come with a limited warranty ranging from 50,000 miles to 80,000 miles. Some stores that sell Goodyear tires include: Discount Tire Company, Sears, National Tire and Battery and Sam's Club. The Goodyear website also provides a search engine that enables visitors to find the nearest Goodyear tires retailer.

Goodyear is one of the best tire brands for vehicles. Goodyear tires are available for a variety of vehicles and are made with technology designed to provide durability, quality, comfort, and high performance. Vehicle owners who equip their vehicles with Goodyear tires may rest assured that they are driving on one of the best brands available.
